Life is such an unutterable hell, solely because…

Hello, once again. Every once in a while I write about the meaning of what I write, just to refresh the memories of the old followers, and to enlighten the new ones. I feel that I need to do it, just to resolve a few questions, and to make you think about chocolate donuts. There, now you’re thinking about chocolate donuts.
Why do you write?I get asked this question a lot. I write because I feel like. I do what I want to. And if what I want to do is write, then I write. Sometimes I don’t entirely feel like writing, so I either listen to Pink Floyd or play my guitar or take/make pictures or even read. Reading is still my favorite hobby. It always was. Recently I saw a book lying on the table called ‘Wizards’. I remembered; it was one of my favorite books and so I randomly shuffled it till I chanced upon a page that looked good enough to read. It was a short story that had always been one of the best short stories I’ve read. Simply because the characters in it provide a dark insight of life that you rarely find in a children’s book. My favorite excerpt from that story is the following paragraph:

Life is such an unutterable hell, solely because it is sometimes beautiful. If we could only be miserable all the time, if there could be no such things as love or beauty or faith or hope, if I could be absolutely certain that my love would never be returned: how much more simple life would be. One could plod through the salt-mines of existence without being bothered about happiness. Unfortunately the happiness is there.

This is a picture I made. It's unrelated, but it's cool.
It is through reading that I have acquired this magnificent talent of writing. And it is through writing frequently that I have gained this wonderful talent of embellishment of random happenings of life.
You write quite well. But why do you have a blog?Well, a blog is a space on the internet that is free from the constraints of mainstream websites such as facebook and internet forums, where you have to abide by certain rules. I don’t like rules. If it was possible, I’d build a rocket-ship out of soda bottles and glycerol, and attach it to a gyroscope with an inbuilt GPS system, so that I can launch it towards any rule book and annihilate it. Problem solved.
I hate your blog!

Yeah that's right. Scram!
